จากการที่ Internet Explorer 6 มีปัญหากับมาตรฐานเว็บมากมาย แม้ในปัจจุบันจะมี IE7 ออกมาแล้ว ก็ยังมีคนจำนวนมากที่ไม่อัพเกรด จึงมีการรณรงค์ "หยุดการใช้ IE6 เพื่อช่วยนักพัฒนาเว็บ!"

ในเว็บจะมี JavaScript ให้นำมาแปะในเว็บเรา ถ้าผู้เข้าเว็บใช้ IE6 จะมี pop down โผล่มามุมบนขวา โดยมี link ไปที่เว็บโครงการ
